Originally built as a retreat for one of Colorado’s most prominent families, Greystone is an historic private estate located just 30 miles west of Downtown Denver and just 40 miles east of some of the world’s best skiing. Since 1914, this family-style compound has served as a supremely private and secure environment in which to live and gather. Hidden from view behind a private gate, the one-half mile long drive wanders passed undulating hills, forest of Ponderosa Pines and graceful meadows to the heart of the estate. Greystone boasts seven structures, ranging from an historic cabin that was originally built at the turn of the century on a Wyoming dude ranch, to the Manor House that boasts 6 large bedrooms and just over 12,000 square feet of living space. At Greystone, you can comfortably sleep over 20 people and can host well over 200 for private events. One of the crown jewels of Greystone is the Pavilion, a 5800 square foot entertaining and event space that has hosted weddings, philanthropic events and business meetings alike. Of course, with 55 acres of mountain forest, wide open meadows, a pond and private frontage along the Upper Bear Creek, tennis courts and an incredible outdoor pool overlooking the valley, there are a myriad of outdoor activities to feed the soul. Perhaps one of the greatest attributes of Greystone, however, is the peace and solitude that comes from such a private location.
