GRAND AUTUMN REFLECTIONS & OPPORTUNITY (November 2025)
The golden light of a few days of welcome rain brought new life to the pastures and deepened the fall colors. When new compelling views are revealed, updated pics will be revealed.
Difficult to grasp from aerial views, Paradise on the Park rolls gently from the road through open pastures and woodlands, culminating in the secluded southwest corner, where the land achieves its highest, most private views. The natural slopes and interspersed hardwoods and evergreens create unique, interior seclusion (a perimeter within the perimeter), while maintaining spacious pastures.
[OPEN TO OFFERS]: All offers are welcomed, and creative purchase or financing ideas are open for conversation.
For now, this opportunity remains exclusive to HorseProperties.net viewers; those who truly understand the purpose and privilege of this land. Connecting before the listing is extended provides a unique advantage to explore terms and possibilities personally. As the seasons turn, its reach may have to expand through select land brokers and additional markets, ensuring that when the right moment arrives, the next steward will find it.
The land itself extends a quiet invitation; its true character is best appreciated in person. A simple call, text, or email can start a conversation or answer any question, and a visit can be arranged to experience firsthand the full sense of privacy and the possibilities for shaping a personal estate that can only be felt on-site.
OCTOBER UPDATE: THE PURPOSE OF THE SEASONS
October brings a different kind of beauty to Paradise on the Park. The last milkweed pods have opened, sending their silken seeds across the fields; a reminder that even the simplest plants and creatures that thrive with them have a unique purpose.
With the walnuts having lost most of their leaves, visibility across the landscape is greater and the deer are spending extra time with me here - where safety and serenity prevail. I’ve updated the photo gallery including a picture of an intrigued doe who stopped her approach just long enough to gaze at me. As my eyes filled with tears, it was as though she said, “Please don’t leave us!”
I later found quiet clarity in the remembrance of Leo Buscaglia’s, The Fall of Freddie the Leaf. This tender story is about how every season has its purpose. My autumn is making way for the beautiful new season awaiting the next caretaker whose vision will guide Paradise on the Park into its spring.
This will be more than a sale; it’s a search for the next thoughtful steward. I know, baby deer, you will be waiting to greet your new steward home.
FALL TREE & SUNSET UPDATE
Divine guidance took me out this morning to capture fresh photos. As the walnuts dropped around me and squirrels scurried to tuck them away for winter, I felt awestruck by the beauty, peace, and stillness of this land. Wandering across the back half of the property, I realized again that there are simply no words to fully capture its heavenly nature. I only wish you could walk here beside me and experience it for yourself.
The property is graced with walnut trees — some already bare, their branches now lined with clusters of nuts, others still cloaked in leaves. It’s a familiar fall scene, yet today I was reminded how often I’d taken it for granted. Not today.
I accidentally knocked over the mailbox one evening with my tractor bucket while backing up. Well, this is classic me; as my dad used to say, “a bull in a China closet.” No harm done; I was easily able to reset it. The bonus was pausing to watch the sunset paint the clouds across the frontage which was absolutely gorgeous.
PERSIMMON & MONARCH UPDATE
I usually don’t mow the back pasture until the persimmons are ripe because I love to drive the tractor under the trees and eat the delicious ripe persimmons! The persimmon trees are loaded this year!
The pastures are being freshly mowed, though I’ve left the milkweed standing because it’s a favorite stop for monarchs this time of year. Their numbers are dwindling, which makes each sighting feel even more special. While here, one comes to fully appreciate each season and what it has to offer. The early fall brings its own kind of beauty.
THE ONE WHERE I’VE “GONE MAD” & RONNIE’S TREE
After some time away and a tractor hiccup, the first pass over the 20 acres was with the brush hog, followed by a slower round with the finish mower. Moving slowly revealed hidden beauty; including tall fall flowers, butterflies, bees, and a few walnuts on Ronnie’s tree that had gone unnoticed.
Ronnie’s tree, planted decades ago by his aunt, continues to grow and quietly remind us that the land continually renews itself. Slowing down to notice these details has been a gift, showing that living in the present is truly a present.
SUMMER/EARLY FALL UPDATES
Photos are occasionally refreshed and if you zoom in on the lily pond shot, you may spot a blue heron taking flight from the lily pads. A reminder that the wildlife here always has surprises.
The slightly brisk feel in the air becomes unbelievable with only a puffy-clouds to be found here and there - it marks the change of season coming. All four seasons have their special moments here. Evenings in the summer with the work of the day behind, it is so refreshing to cool off with a swim in the pond. And, anytime is great to glide across the water in the kayak until the last rays of light begin to end the day.
IT'S HERE! A new Drone Video was added: (see Video Tour 1). The view begins from the back pasture (a little golden as it was freshly mowed), sweeps over the lily pond, and rises up toward the north park frontage. Video Tour 2 continues to link to the Paradise on the Park website.
[RELATED NEWS FLASH]
It’s rare to find property available around the park, but as the seasons change, it’s time for some of us to do the same. The active market for unique park-adjacent equestrian properties confirms the high demand for this specific location. While every property offers something distinct, Paradise on the Park was designed as one flowing landscape carried across two harmonious parcels. The structure provides a natural balance that opens doors for personal vision and flexible paths forward.
For the immediate now, this opportunity remains exclusive to HorseProperties.net viewers; those who truly understand the purpose and privilege of this land. As the seasons turn, it may be necessary to extend the property’s reach through select land brokers and additional markets, ensuring that when the right moment arrives, its next steward will find it. Those who connect with me directly during this exclusive phase will have the unique advantage of working with me personally to explore creative terms and possibilities.
