Home Features

  • The lovely colonial executive home, has 2 master suites one on the first floor and another on the second floor, along with 2 other bedrooms and bath.
  • For the in-laws, Air BnB, or your trainer, there is a separately accessed ground floor annex- complete with open plan kitchen/living room, large bedroom and shower room.
  • Including the annex, the home has 5 bedrooms, and 4.5 baths.
  • It is exceptionally well built (1995), with a large custom built chef's kitchen with Deer Isle granite countertops, open plan dining and living area, a separate dining room, and den. There is a separate laundry area, and the basement has a very large storage area, boys den, and there's even a heated double garage!
  • We have lovingly tended to the gardens, and planted a fruit tree orchard - with apples, crab apples, pears, European plums, cherries, peach, and apricot- many of which fruited this year for the first time! Lot Features

  • There are almost 70 acres in total, almost 50 of which are laid to grass and considered 'prime' farmland. About 25 acres (3 large fenced fields) have been used as solely hay fields maintained by our neighboring farmer.
  • The remaining 25 have been rotationally grazed by our animals above and horses and form 6 large pastures, and 5 smaller paddocks each of which has access to a field shelter or the aforementioned older barn.
  • All fields (including hay fields) are fenced, most with white vinyl horse fence, some also have fencing for small ruminants.
  • The remaining 20 acres are mixed woodland, and there is even an older little log cabin nestled in the woods!

Horse Facility Features

  • In addition to the main horse barn with its 13 stalls, 4 of which are large foaling stalls, and a large center aisle, with excellent lighting and skylights, there is a second barn which has 6 very large stalls, a heated tack room, and stairs to an insulated loft area we used for storage. This has been used as our smaller animal barn and as our isolation barn when new horse arrive on the farm as it has direct access to some lovely paddocks.
  • There is also a large concrete professionally built 'muck heap', a large load shavings shed and adjacent workshop, and a Large older barn which has been renovated to enable the side bays to house our chickens, pigs, sheep, goats, alpacas and horses, many of which have direct access to paddocks. The central section has been used as a small indoor arena and for storing large round bales of hay.
  • Additionally there is a large 100 X200 foot sand arena, and a smaller 70X140 foot grass arena (which has professional footing under the grass).
